Ok, lets see here.....
Well, I'm not entirely sure how italian I am, my moms family backround is pretty fuzzy, but my dad is a full blooded Italian, so I know I've got at least 50% italian blood running through my veins. I'm kind of new to the furry fandom, but I know I love being a part of it. I'm John, 19 years old, and I'm a half italian fox furry. I guess thats all for now, have fun out there. i was wandering if anyone would be interested in sending me articles, ads, pictures, of any of the ukrainian or european world cup players?
I am american and lets just say when italy won the world cup there wasnt much coverage on them. so little articles on a team that didnt win wasnt anywhere to be found.
you can email me at email@example.com or comment here and we can set something up.
i would be happy to be pen pals or swap other things.
sorry if this post isnt allowed.

Here's a little blurb I made up for our Italian-ness.
When we were the Roman Empire, we dominated the Mediterranean.
Nowadays, we Italians dominate... In bed.
I dunno I'm bored.

Going to Italy!
A friend of mine told me that I forgot to post my good news to this community, so here is the story. I'm going to Italy! The History Channel recently had a show called "DaVinci and the Code He Lived By". There was a sweepstakes for it where people could enter online and at various locations. I took my mom to Medieval Times to celebrate her 73rd birthday on December 9th. While we were hanging out in the main hall of the castle waiting for the doors to open to the arena, there was a table with a box and entry forms. We both filled out entry forms and dropped them in the box. At the time I thought nothing of it, afterall, whoever wins those kinds of contests anyway right? Much to my surprise, I received a message on my answering machine telling me that I was the grand prize winner! I called the number back, got a voice mailbox and left my name, number and e-mail address. This e-mail came shortly after: January 17, 2006
RE: DaVinci and The Code He Lived By Sweepstakes

To say I'm excited wouldn't even be close to adequately describing how I feel! The only contests I've ever won were $113 for getting four numbers in the pick 6 lottery, and a $100 check for helping free Captain Crunch from the Soggies. *laughs* Hey, even the King of Losers has a lucky break every once in a Hawaiian blue moon! *celebrates!* It's a trip for two, so I'm taking my mom with me. We've both wanted to see Italy for long time but never had the time or money. I'm glad I can now make one of her long time dreams come true! ^.^ Current Mood: happy
I got a question for all the Italian speaking furs out there:
Anyone ever go onto Furry, Italian MU*s or webpages? I want to brush up on my speaking (writing?) abilities, and I think it'd be cool to MUCK in a different country. ^.^;; I know there's lots of German-speaking MUCKs, but I've never had any luck finding Italian speaking ones.
Help muchly appreciated. ^.^

This community's been a little dead recently, so here's something to liven things up. :)
If anyone's interested, here is a link
of Italian (and presumably other countries, but the link goes right to Italy) web-cast radio and TV stations.
I suggest Radio Cuore for real, completely Italian music (many of the others are Italian mixed with English-language music, primarily crappy 80s American music), and Radio Barbagia for a mix of Italian and English (and really bad programming--we're talking Shania Twain following 50 cent following Italian pop, but over all pretty decent music).

Ever want 'Home cooking' but find yourself too tired from work, or you don't want to spend alot of time cooking? Here are some dishes I make when I have a busy night:
What you'll need:
- Pasta (I like larger types like riggatone for this) ...as much as you want to make
- Mozzarella & grated parmesan cheeses
- da sauce
- Prepare pasta...don't overcook...whatsamatteryou?!
- Pre-heat the oven to about 250-300F
- Mix your pasta with the sauce and layer that with the mozzarella in a cassarole/baking dish
- Pour a bit of milk in the top...makes it extra creamy and yummy...top with parmesan
- Bake for about 10 mins...or until you see the cheese bubbling
What you'll need:
- Instant rice
- mushrooms, garlic, green or red peppers, onions
- can of cream of mushroom soup OR some red sauce
- Olive oil
- wine (optional)
- Prepare the veggies and garlic by cutting them into fine fine pieces
- heat a frying pan with oilve oil and saute those veggies & garlic
- Prepare minute rice...but undercook it slightly, then add it too the mixture
- keep stirring...let the rice soak up the infused oil
- Add the sauce or condensed soup (and wine)
- Keep stirring or Nona will knock you out! o.O
- Turn down heat to very low and let the rice absorb any exess liquids...sprinkle with parmesan and eat!
I know these never beat the real thing, but they're good and quick...and very nostalgic! :D

I'm new here. Half Australian, half Italian. I was born in Aussie, but my parents are Italian.
The name's Magnus! I'm an 18 year old Punk/Goth Furry; into the furry aspects of good/tasteful art, good RP, active MU*'s, good cartoons/films, and an occasional furry video-game. I've had a fursuit, but that was when I was 10, for a school play. Yes, it was an actual suit with a tail and such, rather then just face-paint, cardboard ears, and colour co-ordianted shirt & pants.
You can find my interests on my User-Info, as well as more general information about myself.
I'm pretty open about topics; I'll be nice to you, if you be nice to me. That is: Don't convert my opinions, and I won't change your opinions/views.
I do actually speak italian, been learning for.. approximately 6 years now. I'm in a year 12 Italian Accelerated class now, and I'm friends with another Italian Fur IRL.
Any questions, ask! =D Feel free to add me to your Friends List, I'll add you back; always eager to gain more friends. Current Mood: cheerful

How many of you people are headed to FurFright?
If there's enough, how about running a little Italian Furs panel, or at least a meet 'n greet, one of the nights? It'd be cool to get together and babble at each other in Italian, or at the very least make some pasta. ;)

a little something for all the "mingia bros" and "mingia bras" out there....
I had this CRAZY dream last night.... that I was hungry and I went into the fridge to look for food, and all I saw were MASSIVE blocks of cheese. cacicavalle and mozzerella and the braided ones that I forget the names, and ricotta and bocconcini.... all kinds.... and then I went to the second fridge (because for some reason, all Italians have a secondary storage bin for food) and I saw even MORE cheese, but in addition, there was a nice giant leg of prosciutto, as well as some mulingian (I'm sure I spelt that one wrong) and peppers and jars of tomatoes.... and the entire time I'm thinking "but what do we have to EAT??"
.... heh.... just thought I'd share that.... Current Mood: hungry
Anthrocon is coming up and I was wondering how many of you guys are gonna be there. Being a South Philly native, I can make arrangements for a nice dinner at one of my favorite restaurants. Let me know if any of you are interested :-)

I have an 'old school' espresso maker, aluminum with 3 parts. The kind you put on the stove and all:http://www.cooksite.com/ImgUpload/P_205019_219639.jpg
Now I can't seem to figure the thing out :( I've become too acustomed to the automatic kind. Would someone be so kind as to give me instructions on how to make a good espresso? I'll be using Lava Rosso gounds, if that matters...and I have Sambucca on hand as well ;)
Many thanks, & 2 kisses Current Mood: bouncy
